A Sunday in Alba between the International White Truffle Fair, the old town and a guided wine tasting in a cellar in the Barolo Langhe.

Sunday 18 October 2026: a day in the heart of the UNESCO-listed Langhe, between the Alba World White Truffle Market, the city's old town and the village of Barolo, with a visit and guided tasting at a renowned local winery.

Travel itinerary

    Arrival in Alba

    The coach arrives in Alba and the day in the city begins.

  2. 09:45 – 12:15

    Alba International White Truffle Fair

    Entrance to the World Truffle Market. Displays and sales of certified truffles, along with local produce, wines, cheeses, cured meats and Langhe hazelnuts.

  3. 12:15 – 13:15

    Free visit of Alba's old town

    Free time to stroll among the streets and medieval towers of Alba's old town.

  4. 13:15 – 14:30

    Lunch at leisure

    The chance to eat at the food stalls or in one of the restaurants in the centre.

  5. 14:30

    Departure for the Barolo area

    Coach transfer through the vine-covered hills of the Langhe.

  6. 15:00 – 16:30

    Guided visit to a renowned Langhe winery

    A visit to the historic cellars, an introduction to the area and its production methods, and a guided tasting of local wines, including Barolo.

  7. 16:30 – 17:15

    Free stroll through the village of Barolo

    Free time to discover the village of Barolo and its castle.

  8. 17:15 / 17:30

    Departure for the return journey

    Departure for the return journey to Ticino.
