Bern — Onion Market Festival (Zibelemärit)

Bern, Switzerland

Trip organised by Rosy Viaggi and sponsored by GirAutoBus Sagl

A day at Bern's historic Zibelemärit, between onion braids, confetti and local specialities in the heart of the Swiss capital.

The Zibelemärit — the Onion Market — is Bern's oldest and most characteristic fair: from the early hours of the morning the UNESCO-listed old town fills with stalls selling onion braids, garlic, sweets and local produce, amid showers of confetti.
