Six days at the most famous Marian shrine in Europe, at the foot of the Pyrenees.
A pilgrimage to the place where the Virgin appeared to Bernadette Soubirous, with communal celebrations, torchlight processions and moments of prayer at the Grotto.
Travel itinerary
- Day 1
Ticino → Lourdes
Early morning departure by luxury coach, travelling with comfort stops. Arrival in Lourdes in the evening and check-in at the hotel.
- Days 2 – 5
At the shrine
A programme of celebrations at the shrine: the international Mass at the Grotto, the Way of the Cross, the Eucharistic procession and the evening torchlight procession. Time for personal prayer and for visiting the places associated with St Bernadette.
- Day 6
Lourdes → return
A final morning celebration at the Grotto, departure during the morning and arrival back in Ticino late in the evening.

Mid-October at the foot of the Pyrenees: cool, 8–18°C, with possible rain and wind.
Swiss nationals: valid Swiss identity card or passport (Schengen country, no visa required). Italian nationals: identity card valid for travel abroad or a valid passport.
