A pilgrimage to Medjugorje, the place of the apparitions of the Queen of Peace, taking part in the spiritual programme of St James's parish, with visits to Apparition Hill (Podbrdo) and to Cross Mountain (Križevac).
Travel itinerary
- Day 1
Ticino → Medjugorje
Early morning departure by luxury coach, travelling with comfort stops along the Adriatic coast. Arrival in Medjugorje in the evening and check-in.
- Day 2
Podbrdo — Apparition Hill
Participation in the parish programme, climb up Apparition Hill and recitation of the Rosary. Eucharistic adoration in the afternoon.
- Day 3
Križevac — Cross Mountain
Climb up Cross Mountain with the Way of the Cross. In the afternoon, time for personal prayer and the sacraments.
- Day 4
Communities and testimonies
Meetings with the communities of Medjugorje (Cenacolo, Oasis of Peace) and personal testimonies. Participation in the international evening Mass.
- Day 5
Marian day
A day dedicated to the spiritual programme of the shrine, with adoration and the evening Rosary on the hill.
- Day 6
Medjugorje → return
Morning Mass, then departure for the return journey with comfort stops. Arrival in Ticino late in the evening.

Travel tips
Early October in Herzegovina: mild during the day, 12–22°C, with cool evenings.
Italian and Swiss nationals: a valid passport with at least 3 months' validity beyond the return date. Bosnia and Herzegovina is outside the EU and outside the Schengen area.
